Job Opportunity: Mould Shop Fitter

We are seeking a skilled workshop fitter to join our maintenance team at our new glass factory in Yatala. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and preparing all mould gear and ancillaries.

The successful candidate will have a trade qualification as a mechanical fitter, with experience in manufacturing or heavy industry. You will possess strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail, with the ability to read technical drawings and follow maintenance schedules.

You will work closely with our production and quality teams to ensure moulds meet strict standards and are ready for use when needed. Full training is provided through our in-house training program, and we offer clear pathways, real development, and support every step of the way.

  • Maintain, repair, and prepare mould equipment and tooling
  • Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and support root cause analysis
  • Ensure moulds meet quality specifications and production timelines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support seamless operations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and process optimization
