Job Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Packing & Production Operators to join our team at our Further Processing Facility in Thomastown. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for packing Inghams' frozen products into cartons, ensuring safe and efficient operation of equipment, and assisting Line Operators in the Packing area.
Key Responsibilities
- Packing Ingham's frozen products into cartons, handling chicken products with care and attention to detail.
- Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment, particularly during setup and product changeovers.
- Assisting Line Operators in the Packing area, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Maintaining a high level of personal hygiene and adhering to food safety and quality standards.
- Storing and maintaining materials, equipment, and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Identifying and escalating food safety and quality issues, hazards, and risks.
Requirements
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently, correctly, and systematically in accordance with policies and standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to respond calmly and methodically when faced with obstacles.
- Good level of fitness, as manual handling of up to 15kg is required.
