This position is working within our APM Futures program, based in Glenorchy, commencing at 2 days per week, 8.30am – 5.00pm (hours could increase depending on caseload growth)

Job Description

The APM Futures program delivers highly individualized employment supports to NDIS Participants, focusing on personal growth and vocational identity development.

You will be motivating, mentoring and supporting participants to develop their skills and establish their capacity for work, tailoring your approach to meet each individual's unique needs.

  • Provide hands-on and consultative support to a small group of participants.
  • Mentorship, encourage skills development and increase people's capacity for work.
  • Deliver person-centered supports to participants transitioning from school to work.
  • On-site support once employment has commenced and assist with integration.
  • Support and consultation to employers.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We welcome applicants from various backgrounds, including Youth Services, NDIS, Community Services and Employment Services.

Key qualifications include: eligibility to work in Australia, a current driver's license and comprehensively insured vehicle, first aid and CPR certification, willingness to undergo a criminal history check, ability to obtain a Working with Children Check & NDIS Worker Screening Check and completion of a NDIS Worker Orientation Module prior to commencement.
