Key Responsibilities
- Leadership
- - Foster a positive and supportive work environment that encourages open communication and collaboration.
- - Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions-focused feedback to enhance overall performance.
- - Develop and implement region-specific strategies to meet monthly and quarterly objectives, aligned with business initiatives.
- - Manage budgets and profit and loss statements, and ensure effective communication throughout the organization.
- Customer Experience
- - Coach the team on best practices, embedding customer-centric processes and omni-channel solutions in-store.
- - Ensure all customer complaints and issues are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Reporting
- - Analyze key metrics, including customer and team feedback, and provide guidance and coaching for each store to act on and achieve regional goals.
- - Utilize sales analysis and reports to create optimized shopping spaces and drive business growth.
- Recruitment and Onboarding
- - Recruit and onboard new Assistant Store Managers, ensuring they are equipped for success.
- - Proactively manage staffing levels, with adequate time for recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Performance Management
- - Provide support to team members through consistent leadership and performance management.
- - Build, develop, and implement people strategies to support team development and retention.
- - Create and deliver engaging tools and training to help team members reach their performance targets.
- Learning & Development
- - Monitor and evaluate the progress of employee learning in-store.
- - Spend time in-store to train, coach, and develop team members.
- - Implement comprehensive learning structures for retail teams, following a structured approach.
- - Develop talent pipelines and future leaders by providing regular feedback and creating meaningful development plans.
- Visual Merchandising
- - Oversee the implementation of visual merchandising direction to timeframe and standard.
- - Ensure campaigns are intentionally rolled out and aligned with launch dates.
- Store Network
- - Assist in the management of new store openings, relocations, renovations, and closures within your portfolio.
- - Manage repairs and maintenance, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
- - Manage compliance across areas including food safety, cash handling, OH&S, and asset protection.
- - Review and monitor store audits, creating and following up on necessary actions.
- General Compliance
- - Ensure 100% legislative compliance for all business practices through proactive measures.
- - Complete roster audits and ensure efficient rosters, with review and approval from senior leadership.
