Role Overview: We are looking for a proficient Electrical Design Engineer to contribute to the development of advanced electrical control systems. This position offers a flexible work environment, allowing for a balance between professional and personal commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop low voltage distribution and motor control circuits.
  • Conduct LV power system modeling and select appropriate cables.
  • Create control systems tailored for various industries and products.
  • Design control networks and instrument loops effectively.
  • Prepare instrument data sheets and oversee procurement processes.
  • Select, configure, and commission variable speed drives.
  • Support factory acceptance testing, commissioning, and site acceptance testing for LV motors, DOL starters, and PLC systems.
  • Engage with clients to understand their specific needs and develop customized solutions.
  • Manage projects to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of services.

Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial electrical control and demonstrate excellent communication skills. You should be adept at managing client relationships and committed to delivering high-quality results.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Electrical engineering qualification (Bachelor's, Certificate, Advanced Diploma, or Associate Diploma).
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Experience in managing and nurturing client relationships.
  • Proven track record of collaborative teamwork.
  • Experience in sectors such as water, chemicals, materials handling, mining, or industrial applications.
  • Valid driver's license.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Certification in functional safety.
  • Proficiency with Powercad / PTW.
  • Electrical contractor's license.
  • Experience in configuring and commissioning a variety of industrial instrumentation.
