About the Role

We are seeking a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of various electrical control systems, ensuring they meet the highest industry standards. You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide innovative solutions that align with their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Design low voltage distribution and motor control circuits, perform LV power system modelling and cable selection, develop control systems for various products and industries, and design control networks and instrument loops.
  • Project Management: Manage projects to ensure timely and quality delivery of requirements, collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions, and assist with factory acceptance testing, commissioning, and site acceptance testing of LV motors, DOL starters, and PLC systems.
  • Client Relationships: Experience in managing, developing, and maintaining client relationships, and possess excellent communication skills.
About You

You are a skilled Electrical Engineer with a strong background in industrial electrical control. You thrive in a collaborative environment and possess excellent communication skills. You are experienced in managing client relationships and are committed to delivering high-quality work.

Essential Selection Criteria:
  • Electrical engineering qualification (Bachelor, Certificate, Advanced Diploma, Associate Diploma)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in managing, developing, and maintaining client relationships
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience in the water, chemical, materials handling, mining, or industrial sectors
  • Valid NSW Drivers Licence.
Desirable Selection Criteria:
  • Functional safety certification
  • Competence with Powercad / PTW
  • Electrical contractor's licence
  • Experience in configuring and commissioning a wide range of industrial instrumentation.
