Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume the role of Community Team Leader, overseeing medication administration, wound care, and resident assessments.

  • Contribute to comprehensive care planning and evaluate service delivery, adhering to the highest standards of practice and ethics outlined by the BCCNM.
  • Collaborate closely with RNs for complex cases and consultations, implementing wellness programs and fostering a positive environment for both teams and residents.
  • Maintain meticulous resident charting and information using advanced systems like Point-Click Care and EMAR, ensuring accurate reporting of acute resident information to our RNs.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from a recognized post-secondary Licensed Practical Nurse program.
  • Current Emergency First Aid Certification.
  • Current registration in good standing with the BCCNM.
  • A minimum of three years of LPN experience providing care to seniors or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
