Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Solar Project Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to develop their skills and experience in solar project engineering.

The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solar projects from inception through to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing detailed project designs and plans, including drawings and specifications
  • Selecting suitable products and equipment for solar projects
  • Estimating material costs and quantities, and supporting tender preparation
  • Organizing and supervising the assembly and installation of solar components and controls
  • Performing product testing and performance reporting, including quality assurance and control
  • Collecting and analyzing data, carrying out complex computations, and preparing diagrams as needed
  • Ensuring that designs and completed work meet specifications, regulations, and contract provisions
  • Managing workload to support programming and scheduling of projects
  • Project administration, including contracts, commercial management, procurement, and client liaison
