Department and Role Overview:
The Anaesthesia department provides clinical anaesthesia to all major surgical specialties, including general surgical services, orthopaedic surgical services, and emergency obstetric services. We have a busy Elective and Emergency Obstetric service, functioning as the regional referral centre for higher-risk obstetrics. Our unique partnership with a leading tertiary health service offers opportunities for collaboration in research, education, and clinical practice.
Your Profile:
We are seeking a qualified Anaesthesiologist with a Bachelor of Medicine, eligibility for unrestricted registration as a specialist with AHPRA, and ANZCA outcome for work-based assessment. ANZCA or equivalent certification is desirable. Why Join Us:
We offer a competitive salary package, including Enterprise Agreement (EA) pay and conditions, pro rata pay at the base rate for the first 12 months, and automatic transition to the higher rate at completion of 12 months. We also offer generous out-of-hours payment, leave provisions, and continuing medical education (CME) allowances.
