Latrobe Regional Health seeks a highly skilled and experienced Fractional Anaesthesiologist to join their team on a full-time, ongoing basis.

As a Senior Medical Staff (SMS) member, the successful candidate will be required to:

• Participate actively in the effective function of the department and co-operate with other members in the provision of patient care.
• Provide clinical expertise and excellent service in anaesthesia and perioperative medicine.
• Supervise junior medical and other relevant staff within the Unit/ Department.
• Support Latrobe Regional Health's quality, monitoring, and improvement initiatives.
• Support LRH teaching, research, and clinical governance programs.
• Support the strategic priorities and values & beliefs of LRH.

Requirements

• Legally qualified medical practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Fellowship of the Australian & New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.
• Meets LRH requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in anaesthesia.
• Experience in teaching and research.
• Experience in Obstetric anaesthesia, paediatric anaesthesia, and trauma.
