The Job Description
  • Provide sterile and thermally disinfected medical and surgical equipment to all areas for use in patient care.
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural working group to achieve common goals.
  • Adhere to strict quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Essential flexibility to work within a 7-day, 24-hour rotating roster.
  • Current or recent experience of not less than 12 continuous months within a hospital-based Sterilizing Services Unit.
  • Possession of a Sterilizing Technology Certificate from a recognized Australian-based registered tertiary training organisation.
