Levies Compliance Officer Job Description

This role is responsible for managing a diverse caseload of complex levy accounts, monitoring and following up on missing returns and agent enquiries, identifying new levy payers, identifying breaches of legislation and recommending action, conducting inspections of levy agent records, exercising powers as an authorised officer, conducting research and providing technical advice and recommendations, and participating in proactive strategies to promote voluntary compliance.

The Levies Compliance Team delivers an annual risk-based compliance program that encourages levy payers to voluntarily comply with legislation and provides assurance to government and industry stakeholders that levy collections are materially complete.
