Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced metal fabrication specialist to join our team on a casual basis, with the potential for permanency after 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Metalfabricate and weld products
  • Select, clean, and prepare metal from stock
  • Cut marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches, and metal cutting machines
  • Join metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting
  • Examine welds for width, penetration, and precision
  • Clean and smooth welds by filing, chiseling, and grinding
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Tig & MIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in stainless steel and aluminum welding is advantageous
  • Welding certification or relevant experience
  • Current driver's license and reliable transport
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Motivated, reliable, and take pride in workmanship
  • Strong safety-focused work ethic
