Job Title

We are seeking Expressions of Interest for the appointment of an Independent Chair for the Shoalhaven Starches Community Consultative Committee in New South Wales, Australia.

The committee will provide a structured forum for dialogue between the community and site operations, ensuring transparency and accountability on environmental, social and sustainability matters.

This is a paid position. The Independent Chair will be appointed for a two-year term, facilitating quarterly meetings and overseeing committee processes in line with the Terms of Reference.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

They will have experience in governance, committee management, and community engagement, as well as knowledge of environmental, social and sustainability principles.

It is essential that the successful candidate can demonstrate independence, impartiality, and a commitment to transparency and accountability.
