About Evolve Scientific:

We are a leading scientific solutions provider seeking a highly experienced electrical systems coordinator to join our team in Melbourne.

The Role Responsibilities:

The coordinator will participate in all aspects of electrical and instrument systems at our site. Defined procedures and practices will be followed in carrying out the work. The coordinator will be required to work in a collaborative environment and contribute to the process of identifying improvement opportunities in relation to standards, procedures, and practices employed by the team.

The electrical systems coordinator is responsible for ensuring that new and existing instrumentation and electrical equipment installed meet current and evolving facility requirements. The coordinator will:

  • Support electrical and instrumentation activities and permits.
  • Complete electrical and instrumentation TMP300s (equipment lists) from projects to ensure data is correct and up to date.
  • Support electrical work planning, scheduling, and TECO in SAP.
  • Support calibration review projects.
  • Support alarm management risk assessments.
  • Support deviation and other investigations.
  • Actively participate in the selection of electrical equipment and its supporting infrastructure to meet current and evolving needs.
  • Coordinate with other engineers, both internal and external.
  • Liaise with process, operations, and maintenance teams in the investigation of reported defects, including PIRs, and the identification of corrective action.
  • Produce technical reports and participate in conducting and responding to internal audits and quality events.

Requirements:

  • Ideal pharmaceutical background, or hospital or food industry background is acceptable, or high-risk industry experience.
  • 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Calibrations background.
  • Understanding of complex engineering systems.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Great time management skills.
  • Siemens PCS7 background.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP experience.
  • BMS systems experience (computerized and automation systems).
  • Experience in regulated industries.
