The Opportunity
This is a key role that involves detecting, containing, and remediating security incidents affecting our corporate IT infrastructure, applications, data, and users. You'll be responsible for maintaining our Cyber Security Threat Framework and supporting its implementation. You'll also provide Level 2 support to employees across all our business units and manage new security systems/processes to mitigate agreed risks.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Maintaining our Cyber Security Threat Framework and supporting its implementation.
  • Providing Level 2 support to employees across all our business units.
  • Managing new security systems/processes to mitigate agreed risks.
  • Daily monitoring of security solutions including Tenable Security Centre, Azure Sentinel, and FortiAnalyzer Firewall Security.
  • Security awareness training and phishing simulations.
  • Identifying and bringing to attention breaches and potential intrusion incidents.
  • Analyzing security breaches to determine the root cause.

Requirements:
  • 2-3 years' working experience in a Cyber Security role as a tier 1 or tier 2 engineer.
  • IT degree or related engineering, science, or maths degree.
  • Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain security clearance.
  • Hands-on working experience with Azure (Entra ID and Defender) is required.
  • Experience in M365 suite (Exchange, SharePoint, Intune, Teams, Purview, and/or Power Platform Apps & Automate).
  • Desirable experience in Azure Sentinel.
  • Privileged Access Management.
  • SC-200 certified is desirable.
  • Desirable Azure Administrator: AZ-104 certification or any Azure certificate.
  • Desirable M365 Administrator: MS-102 certificate.
  • Service-oriented individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Understanding of cyber security issues such as computer intrusions, malicious code, phishing, and SPAM.
  • Good understanding of system administration of Microsoft environments and process to troubleshoot incidents.
