A unique opportunity has arisen to lead our experienced service team as Service Manager.
About the RoleThis hands-on leadership role combines operational coordination, team management, and customer service. You'll work closely with technicians, support staff, and senior leadership to drive efficiency and improve service delivery.
This role is ideal for a technically minded professional with strong leadership skills who enjoys rolling up their sleeves.
Key Responsibilities:- Team Leadership: Lead a team of 8 service technicians, including workload management, performance monitoring, and development planning.
- Daily Operations: Organize scheduling and coordination of service breakdowns, installations and preventative maintenance.
- Customer Management: Serve as a key point of contact for service issues, providing updates on service schedules.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and communication through system and process improvements.
- Job Oversight: Monitor open jobs, quotations, and follow-ups through the CRM system.
- Parts & Inventory: Oversee the coordination of spare parts orders and ensure availability of critical stock.
- Reporting & KPIs: Track service performance metrics and contribute to strategic planning with senior management.
