Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional to drive growth in our Consumer Products team across Australia and New Zealand. This role will focus on driving business development, executing high-impact strategies, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the CP team.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Create overall strategic plans for consumer products business and lead the development and execution of business plans.
  • Conduct financial and market analysis of product categories and potential licensees to determine opportunity for growth of consumer products.
  • Identify new licensing/product development opportunities with established licensees as well as sourcing new partners.
  • Establish and manage licensee and growth targets and optimize business through planning and review meetings.
  • Contract management and forecasting responsibility for assigned categories.
  • Develop strong retailer relationships at the buyer level (and above) to drive retail buying commitment for consumer products and new business opportunities.
  • Partner with regional/global CP, Marketing, and Sales teams to launch new licensed products and align on category and account strategies.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the Australia Consumer Products team.
  • Requirements:
  • 10+ years industry/associated experience.
  • Thorough understanding of licensing processes and procedures as well as laws/regulations.
  • Prior management experience within licensing or related area.
  • Prior experience managing a direct report.
  • Advanced ability to foster relationships in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Sales experience and knowledge of retail environment, especially the ANZ mass market.
  • Business/Financial acumen – profit oriented, demonstrates the ability to analyse and understand financial data, control costs and to measure business performance.
