You'll join our relationship-driven team and take charge of developing detailed sales/marketing plans and maximising sales opportunities to drive results and inspire productivity and teamwork.
As a key member of the team, you will rely on your experience and good judgment to proactively build and exponentially grow accounts and drive year-over-year growth in line with the revenue goals.
The role involves:
- Driving success via the sale and delivery of Cloudera Data and AI solutions across new customers.
- Developing sell with and sell through Partner engagements.
- Driving demand generation activities with inside sales and external demand generation activities.
- Developing and delivering business plans to address customer and prospect priorities and critical needs.
- Building growth through internal and external collaboration.
- Own your account relationships, drive net new revenue in your territory with a focus on white space accounts.
- Build consensus and develop relationships at multiple levels – executive sponsors, influencers and decision makers.
- Lead large scale transactions to close large scale deals.
- Build pipeline, forecast business, lead the internal team, communicate key updates and competitive intelligence.
Requirements include:
- 4+ years of sales & business development experience with a strong track record of success.
- Strong hunting capabilities with experience developing, managing and closing new business accounts.
- Collaborative and aspirational thinker.
- Ability to operate independently in an entrepreneurial environment.
- An established network of senior customer relationships within the target market.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivation, quick thinker and ability to perform in high pressure situations.
