About this role:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Fitter to join our maintenance team. As a Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair diesel engines and associated equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and belt replacements
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with diesel engines and equipment
  • Ensure all work is completed to quality standards
  • Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • Current Driver Licence
  • General Construction Induction (white card)
  • Experience in maintaining earth moving equipment
  • Ability to finish work to quality standards
  • Self-motivation and ability to work as directed
  • Strong commitment to safety of self and others
