Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. This is a residential, permanent full-time role based in Gladstone.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating cranes and heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner. They will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.

  • Operating non-slewing and slewing cranes up to 220t capacity
  • Ensuring compliance with rigging procedures and slinging techniques
  • Completing crane set-up, rigging and assembly
  • Developing and completing lift plans as required

The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and will possess excellent communication skills.

Requirements
  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
  • A current CO Crane ticket or equivalent qualification
  • Dogging, Intermediate Rigging and HR licence would be highly regarded but not essential
  • Attention to detail and good time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to self-manage
