
Senior Vendor Management Specialist

Unlock a challenging role in vendor management, regulatory compliance, and procurement. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the full supplier lifecycle, managing third-party risk, and ensuring regulatory compliance within the procurement function.
As a trusted advisor, this role works closely with internal stakeholders and shared services like Legal, Risk, and Cyber to support supplier agreements and contract variations. This includes implementing governance plans that enhance customer experience, manage costs, and reduce risks, while maintaining procurement processes that meet regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities include supporting procurement policies and procedures that address our risk and regulatory framework, developing and delivering process training and instructional documentation to ensure understanding of compliance obligations across the business, and taking the lead in updating these artefacts.
- Supporting procurement reporting and contributing towards continuous improvement.
- Identifying and assessing supplier risks, working with business stakeholders and shared services to mitigate those risks.
- Supporting implementation and management of Vendor Governance Framework across the organization.
- Effectively supporting the business to deal with vendor operational contract enquiries, issues, disputes, variations, risks, and undertaking negotiations with vendors as required.
- Assisting in developing and establishing procurement best practice for related projects and acting as a custodian of the procurement process.
- Supporting ad-hoc requests from business stakeholders and shared services (e.g., Risk, Legal) to support business decision making and undertaking some projects.
For this role, we are looking for an individual with strong working experience in operations, including vendor management, procurement, contract negotiations, and risk. You should also have a proven ability to manage large enterprise supplier relationships, including onboarding, vendor management, contracting, sourcing, and risk management.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, customer service, and written and verbal communication skills. Additionally, they will be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and experienced using PowerBI.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong working experience in operations to include vendor management, procurement, contract negotiations, and risk.

- Skilled in negotiating and managing contracts with stakeholders, vendors, and suppliers to identify and reduce supplier risks.
- Excellent attention to detail, customer service, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Financial management and reporting skills.
- Proficient user in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook.
- Experience using PowerBI.
