We are seeking a dedicated Caregiver and Support Specialist to join our team at integratedliving Australia Ltd.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of older adults in the Hervey Bay/Maryborough area. As a Caregiver and Support Specialist, you will provide essential support and companionship to help individuals live independently and actively.

You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing daily assistance with personal care, domestic tasks, and social activities. Your role will involve:

  • Providing daily assistance with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming;
  • Supporting clients with domestic tasks, such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry;
  • Engaging in social activities, such as conversation, games, and outings;
  • Monitoring clients' health and wellbeing, reporting any changes or concerns to the relevant authorities;
  • Assisting with daily tasks, such as shopping, transportation, and medication management;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III Individual Support (or equivalent) qualification;
  • A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle;
  • Basic technology skills, including the use of mobile devices and software;
  • First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain);
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues;
  • A flexible approach to working hours, with the ability to work varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends;
