Senior Emergency Response Specialist

This is a challenging opportunity to implement and train an emergency response team, ensuring the highest level of safety in our operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing, implementing, and training emergency response protocols and procedures.
- Supporting the Emergency Response Team through comprehensive training packages to site personnel.
- Implementing, training, and supporting the Emergency Response Team to ensure seamless execution.
- Maintaining and enhancing specific skills for the team members.
- Collaborating with Site Access Control on Fit for Work testing and contributing to the Health and Safety Management System development.
- Assisting with annual planning and cost management.
- Evaluating, inspecting, and auditing emergency response facilities, processes, and documents.
In order to succeed, you will require strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.
Your qualifications should include a Certificate 4 Trainer/Assessor, Certificate 3 Mines Rescue, Occupational First Aid, and a Cert 4 HLT Ambulance Diploma in Emergency Management. Previous experience in emergency response, preferably in mining or construction, and proficiency in Microsoft software and database use are also essential.
