About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Emergency Response Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in emergency response and training, with a strong background in health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing, implementing and training emergency response protocols and procedures.
- Supporting the Emergency Response Team through the development and delivery of training packages to site personnel.
- Implementing, training and supporting the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
- Developing and maintaining a specific skill set to facilitate the development of the ERT.
- Supporting Site Access Control with Fit for Work testing and contributing to the ongoing development and communication of the site's Health and Safety Management System.
- Assisting with ERT annual budgeting process and ensuring costs are managed to meet expectations.
- Reviewing, inspecting and auditing the site's emergency response facilities, processes and documents to ensure compliance with site and legislative standards.
About You:
The ideal candidate will hold qualifications and certificates such as Certificate 4 Trainer/Assessor, Certificate 3 Mines Rescue, Occupational First Aid, Cert 4 HLT Ambulance Diploma in Emergency Management. Previous experience should include emergency response in mining or construction, and proficiency in Microsoft software and general database use.
