Job Opportunity

We are seeking an inspiring and forward-thinking professional to join our team as a Heritage Advisor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide informed, strategic, and practical leadership on heritage matters, including assessments and significance studies.
  • Lead and support staff in delivering heritage reports and projects of the highest quality.
  • Prepare winning proposals, tenders, and submissions to secure new opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
  • Oversee project lifecycles from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery is aligned with client expectations and regulatory requirements.
  • Represent the firm in professional forums, public engagements, and industry events, promoting heritage capabilities and values.

Requirements include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Architecture, Heritage Conservation, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in heritage advisory, planning, or conservation.
  • Advanced appreciation of Australian historical architecture, construction methods, and traditional building fabric.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality heritage assessments and reporting.
  • Strong working knowledge of Western Australian and national heritage legislation, policies, and statutory planning processes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing technical reports.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team on complex projects.
  • Commitment to culturally respectful practice and recognition of Aboriginal heritage.
