Support a Child with ADHD and Additional Needs in a Primary School Setting

We are seeking a skilled and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in a Sefton primary school. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing tailored 1:1 support to a child in Year 4 who requires additional help due to their ADHD and other needs.

The role involves implementing behaviour management strategies, encouraging focus and motivation, and adapting classroom tasks to meet individual targets. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children who have ADHD and challenging behaviour, and possess strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills.

As a member of our team, you will benefit from ongoing training in behaviour management and SEN support, as well as a supportive and experienced SEN team. You will also contribute to creating a welcoming and inclusive school environment that fosters positive relationships and academic success.
