The Role of Peer Support Coach

As a Peer Support Coach, you'll work 1:1 with people who come to us for support - supporting them to build skills, try new things, and feel more confident and connected in the world.

  1. Hang out with someone while they practice social or community activities
  2. Support someone in becoming more independent with daily tasks
  3. Reinforce therapy activities or skill-building goals
  4. Help someone get stronger, more mobile, or improve their communication
  5. Encourage, celebrate, and support people as they work toward their goals
About You
  • Kind, thoughtful, and dependable
  • Has lived experience of neurodivergence and/or being LGBTQIASB+
  • Insight into the communities we serve and the barriers we face
  • A communication style that's thoughtful and respectful
