Job Description:

The role is designed to provide a recent agriculture graduate with the opportunity to kick-start their career in agribusiness, focusing on merchandise and fertiliser management.

Throughout the program, you will gain valuable experience in product knowledge, inventory and supply chain management, customer service, sales support, fertiliser blending, logistics and application planning, seasonal planning and product forecasting, business systems, point-of-sale operations, and building strong relationships with local growers and suppliers.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing merchandise operations, developing skills in inventory and supply chain management, and providing exceptional customer service and sales support.
  • Additionally, they will be involved in fertiliser blending, logistics and application planning, as well as seasonal planning and product forecasting.

The individual will participate in a structured development program that aims to build their knowledge and skills across all facets of rural merchandise operations within a leading rural reseller environment.

Key Requirements:

  • A degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a relevant field, obtained prior to the commencement of the program or within three years.
  • Strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a proactive approach.
  • Ability to demonstrate customer service, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.
