Communications Specialist

Our ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communications strategies to promote our clients' interests.

  • Develop and implement communications strategies to achieve client objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage to ensure accurate representation of our clients' messages.
  • Prepare and disseminate press releases, media alerts, and other communications materials as required.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media representatives, government officials, and community leaders.
  • Provide support to senior consultants on large-scale projects, including research, writing, and project coordination.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in political advising or strategic communications.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Law, Politics, or Social Science.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and able to work under pressure, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
