Job Title: Healthcare Professional

This role involves delivering high-quality care to individuals with physical, developmental, or cognitive disabilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and providing direct nursing care in a Supported Disability Accommodation setting.

A key aspect of this position is to provide leadership and clinical skills to mentor and coach personnel, ensuring adherence to workplace health and safety protocols.

The candidate will also be required to provide written and verbal reports on the social, physical, and emotional well-being of residents to senior clinical staff.

To excel in this role, the following qualifications are essential:

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical nursing practice, coupled with an understanding of contemporary nursing theory and care documentation models
  • Generalist registered nursing experience, preferably in aged care – highly desirable
  • Ability to rapidly acquire a sound understanding of appropriate aged care legislated standards and incorporate them into daily practice
