Occupational Rehabilitation Professional

We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a professional background in Psychology, Health Sciences, or Rehabilitation Counselling/Social Work to join our team as an Occupational Rehabilitation Professional.

In this dynamic role, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day while working closely with a strong, close-knit team of driven healthcare professionals.

You will be responsible for providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological, and supporting them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.

  • Caseload management, including case coordination and support;
  • Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes;
  • Developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs;
  • Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals;
  • Working across various schemes, including workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs;

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health Sciences, or Rehabilitation Counselling/Social Work;
  • General or Provisional registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with ASORC, or accreditation with AASW as a Social Worker;
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry highly regarded;
  • Fabulous communication skills, empathy, and kindness essential;
  • Well-developed time management skills and a current NSW Driver's License required.
