Production Excellence Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned production leader to spearhead our manufacturing operations, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive production plans that meet stringent deadlines and budget requirements.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and environmental stewardship across the production floor.
  • Maintain accurate records of production schedules, workforce planning, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate closely with logistics teams to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Foster open communication channels with production staff, addressing concerns and providing coaching and feedback as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, implementing innovative solutions to drive business growth.
  • Lead by example, promoting a results-driven approach and empowering team members to take ownership of their work.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, setting clear goals and expectations for individual contributors.
  • Drive recruitment efforts to attract top talent, ensuring a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies.

Selection Criteria:

  • Proven track record in managing large-scale manufacturing operations, with expertise in supply chain management and cost control.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in motivating and developing high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, identifying areas for improvement and driving strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office, with experience in using ERP systems and other manufacturing software.
  • Achieved certifications in relevant areas, such as GMP or OSHA.
