Green tech startup hiring a Head of Manufacturing
- build Sydney pilot manufacturing process
- grow manufacturing team and manage offshore transfer
- complex module development

We are looking for someone to take charge and commercial a key enabling technology for a cleaner, greener future. This is an extremely rare opportunity in the Australian context for someone to take a leadership role in a company with technology as high tech as this. Timelines are pretty aggressive so the next couple of years will be hectic to say the least. We are looking for a Head of Manufacturing to take a working prototype and have it ready for manufacturing in the next 18 months
- two years.

The Role:

- initial KPI of doing a pilot run next year
- be hands-on in the initial stages to build the units/modules to establish the best manufacturing processes to run with
- set up BOM, ERP systems, supply chain
- grow a manufacturing team
- once a reliable/repeatable/validated build process is created, be responsible for the overseas transfer to contract manaufacturers.

You:

- Background in some high tech manufacturing
- Motivated by getting high quality outcomes as quickly as possible
- Not afraid to get your hands dirty in the initial stages
- Motivated by working in a high tech startup environment
