Senior Structural Engineer Role

As a senior structural engineer, you will play a key role in the design and assessment of various water and wastewater structures. Our projects span the lifecycle of project delivery from feasibility studies to detailed design packages, as well as the assessment and upgrading of existing assets.

Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced structural engineering design tasks on assigned projects, including engineering drawings, reports, presentations, and required applications to regulatory agencies.
  • Develop project scope, budgets, and design approach for small-size projects, and support marketing and business development professionals in positioning for potential projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in client project requirement meetings, coordination meetings with internal and external consultants, owner, contractor, sub-contractors, and vendors.
About You
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering – with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
  • Holding or working towards RPEQ and/or Chartership is highly regarded.
  • 8 years' experience within a consulting engineering practice.
  • Involvement in the structural design of civil or industrial infrastructure with a focus on concrete and steel.
  • Strong ability to prioritize workloads while maintaining strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
