About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team at Altius Group. As a key member of our rehabilitation services team, you will play a vital role in facilitating the recovery and rehabilitation of individuals who have experienced injury, illness, or disability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans that support a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments
  • Utilize problem-solving skills, clinical experience, and knowledge of injury management to facilitate the return to work of claimants
  • Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, their families, insurance companies, employers, and other healthcare professionals to evaluate physical, psychological, and social factors
  • Present case information to stakeholders and provide credible recommendations to drive desired outcomes
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy
  • Appropriate registration with AHPRA (Occupational Therapist or Physiologist) or ESSA (Exercise Physiologist)
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Current driver's license and car
