We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Technician to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with evolving technology, collaborate with great people, and contribute to the success of our clients.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing proprietary Pavesmart Technology and level control systems to ensure that pavement jobs meet depth level requirements, contract level tolerances, and smoothness standards.

About the Role:

  • Liaise daily with site supervisors and engineering staff to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Communicate regularly with plant operators and site staff to maintain level controls and optimize asphalt laying processes.
  • Operate asphalt paving machines using our proprietary PaveSmart system.
  • Install control networks to support efficient project delivery.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Asphalt Level Hand or Operator.
  • Current driver's license and Construction Induction Card (White Card).
  • RII and/or VOCs qualifications preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
  • Able to work day, night, weekend shifts, and away from home as required.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical check and police background check.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this role is approximately $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer:
