Compliance Specialist

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Compliance Specialist. As a key member of our compliance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our organisation operates within full alignment with relevant legislation, regulatory frameworks, and best practices.

You will work collaboratively across departments to manage incident reporting, support risk mitigation, and drive continuous improvement through quality systems and policy development.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensuring adherence to NDIS Practice Standards and Code of Conduct.
  • Coordinating incident reporting, investigations, and regulatory compliance submissions.
  • Supporting organisational risk management strategy and maintaining Risk Register.
  • Participating in implementation and review of policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
  • Maintaining and monitoring Quality Management Systems to support best practice.
  • Collaborating with support teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date participant support plans.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to uphold compliance standards.
  • Contributing to workplace health and safety initiatives.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Disability, Health, or a related field.
  • At least two years' experience in a compliance, quality, or risk management role (preferably in the disability/community sector).
  • Strong understanding of NDIS regulatory requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • A valid Driver's Licence.
