About the RoleThis position plays a critical role in delivering the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP), partnering with the Department of Transport and Main Roads to design and manufacture 65 new trains.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead the development and implementation of systems engineering methodologies for railway signalling projects.
- Produce assurance plans, arguments, and safety documentation related to signalling engineering artefacts.
- Provide strategic guidance and interpretation of assurance requirements and standards.
- Establish and maintain knowledge of critical aspects within assurance packages.
- Conduct safety assurance activities, including hazard analysis, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and be registered as a Professional Engineer in Queensland.
