Overview

Queensland Rail is embarking on a transformative project to enhance the public transportation network across Queensland.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary commensurate with their experience and qualifications, along with 12.75% Superannuation company contribution.

About the Role

This position plays a critical role in delivering the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP), partnering with the Department of Transport and Main Roads to design and manufacture 65 new trains.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of systems engineering methodologies for railway signalling projects.
  • Produce assurance plans, arguments, and safety documentation related to signalling engineering artefacts.
  • Provide strategic guidance and interpretation of assurance requirements and standards.
  • Establish and maintain knowledge of critical aspects within assurance packages.
  • Conduct safety assurance activities, including hazard analysis, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
Requirements and Qualifications

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and be registered as a Professional Engineer in Queensland.
