Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for leading plan production efforts for underground utilities, including water, sewer, and stormwater systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in utility design and experience working with AutoCAD Civil 3D. They will also be able to interact effectively with clients, project managers, architects, and other engineers to integrate utility designs into overall project plans.

This role requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering, EIT certification, and P.E. license or the ability to obtain one. The successful candidate will have 3-15 years of experience in utility design and possess a strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead plan production efforts for underground utilities
  • Interact with clients, project managers, architects, and other engineers
  • Collaborate with technical staff to provide underground utilities design and consulting engineering services
  • Prepare detailed engineering reports, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering
  • EIT certification
  • P.E. license or ability to obtain
  • 3-15 years experience in utility design
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency
