Job Overview

The position of Senior Logistics Engineer involves developing and maintaining logistics support analyses for the family of uncrewed aerial systems products, as well as related duties. The role requires advanced technical skills and experience in product support.

About the Role
  • Plan, develop, review, and maintain logistics engineering and support analysis electronic databases and documents associated with the UAS logistics support analyses in coordination with engineering, maintenance, repair, and other technical teams.
  • Apply advanced engineering technical standards, principles, and techniques to implement logistics support analysis processes, procedures, and tools.
  • Lead the development of core product line and project/customer-specific LSA data and document products in accordance with quality management system processes and customer requirements.
  • Update LSA records, data, and documented products based on internal/external reviews, source data changes, equipment modifications, and customer improvement requests, and resolve source data gaps and inconsistencies with originators.
  • Hold Engineering Authority (EA) and conduct authoritative reviews of completed LSA elements for overall technical accuracy and customer format standards/specifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Engineering degree in a discipline relating to product support, typically 9 or more years work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret aerospace systems and associated technical information to develop high-quality, compliant LSA products.
  • Extensive experience with definition, set-to-work, and operation of product support and life-cycle analysis-related business systems.
  • Expertise in collecting, organising, synthesising, and analysing data; summarising findings; developing conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources at the department level.
  • Knowledge of research tools, methods, and resources to gather needed data.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while working to schedule commitments.
