Data Center Operations Manager

As a Data Center Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the design, planning, delivery, and operation of our global infrastructure.

  • We are responsible for all aspects of the data center's physical infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that support customer innovation.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to deliver safety and security while providing infinite capacity at low cost.
  • Participate in an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical physical infrastructure, ensuring high-quality work without impacting internal or external customers.
  • Manage 24x7 engineering technicians in their career development, promoting improvement projects through conception to completion.
  • Coordinate daily with third-party vendors for SLA adherence, effectively managing operations budget and expenditures.
  • Serve as on-call Data Center Facility Manager after hours, responding to issues, investigating, mitigating, and recovering within data centers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in data centers or critical environments with UPS, Generators, HVAC knowledge.
  • 3+ years' experience in people management, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent understanding of electrical/mechanical systems involved in critical data center operations.
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills, technical writing, or business justifications.
  • Advanced electrical or mechanical certifications (Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant engineering discipline).
