Supporting Student Learning is a pivotal role in our educational environment, where you will be working closely with teachers to provide assistance to students with diverse needs.

This position involves providing individualized support to students inside and outside the classroom, enabling them to participate fully in learning and school activities. Your duties may include:

  • Providing academic support to students with specific learning needs, such as scribing, reading, and providing feedback to teachers
  • Fostering student engagement by reinforcing positive behavior and encouraging participation
  • Assisting with administrative tasks, including record maintenance, resource production, and general classroom support
  • Maintaining a safe and organized classroom environment, ensuring all materials are accessible and easily available

You will work under the direction of a teacher and collaborate with other support staff to create an inclusive learning space that meets the needs of all students.

The successful candidate will require:

  • A Working with Children Suitability Card, valid at time of commencement
  • A current Drivers Licence for occasional travel within the Diocese
  • The ability to perform physical requirements of the role safely
