Key Position in Senior Learning Hub

The Skills, Training and Transitions Officer is a vital member of the Senior Learning Hub team. This role plays a crucial part in leading the school's operational approach to Skills, Training and Transitions.

  • This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work under the direction of the Head of Campus.
  • Collaborating with various teams including the Associate HOC, Middle Leader Learning and Pedagogy, RTO manager, and TAE certificate facilitators is an essential part of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and organizing industry visits to provide learners with opportunities to develop new skills and build relationships with potential employers.
  • Promoting career expos and connection days to help learners connect with industry professionals and gain valuable experience.
  • Providing support for the end of year graduation process and facilitating celebrations for learners who have completed certificates and micro-credentials.
  • Developing a network of transition support options for employment by engaging with local industry, businesses, agencies, employers, RTOs, and workplaces.

Requirements:

  • A proven understanding of the Four Principles and Common Ground Framework.
  • Strong organizational, administrative, communication, and leadership skills.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with staff members to achieve shared goals.
  • Hold a current driver's license and be able to undertake bus runs.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing personal, professional development, and formation.
