Public Sector People are working with a government organisation within Brisbane who are seeking multiple Learning & Development Officers on a unique 6-month contract opportunity.

Benefits

  • Pay: Up to $55-$85 hour + 11.5% super
  • Location: Brisbane/CBD
  • Client: State Government
  • Start date:August 2025
  • Contract length: 6-month contract with extension
  • Hours: 37.5hours per week Monday to Friday – WFH

Candidates may be considered for permanent roles if positions become available in the future, at which point we would negotiate terms directly.

The Role
  • Liaise with Subject Matter Experts, project team and key stakeholders across the department to source and package enterprise training material to be suitable for delivery to external contractors.
  • Understand training requirements and approaches for Onboarding and Train the Trainer programs.
  • Develop and maintain a training plan that aligns with the agreed parameters of project success and effectiveness criteria.
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify gaps and develop appropriate training solutions.
  • Design and develop training content and materials (e.g. User guides, videos, FAQs, and other resources).
