Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trainer Assessor to join our team in NSW. As a Trainer Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs, including classroom-based and work placement supervision, to support the development of young people in the Central Coast, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, and Hunter regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality training programs that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to implement quality initiatives and improve training outcomes.
  • Plan, design, and schedule vocational training courses that meet industry requirements and learner needs.
  • Source and contextualise training materials to ensure they are engaging and relevant to our clients.
  • Provide culturally appropriate support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.
  • Record all client data, interactions, and assessments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in recruitment and enrollment of students, and provide meaningful feedback to learners.
Requirements
  • Relevant hospitality qualifications and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Demonstrated experience in the field of vocational education and training, particularly in the hospitality industry in Australia.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering training to diverse participant groups, face-to-face, online, and by distance.
  • Effective verbal and written communication, listening, and networking skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously and with minimal supervision.
  • Compassion and professionalism in all actions and ethics.
  • Energy, flexibility, initiative, and integrity with a positive and friendly attitude.
