About the role
We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Trainer Assessor to deliver high quality training programs, including the delivery of classroom-based and supervision of students work placement.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, this is a casual position based in Wyong, NSW. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Labour Market Assistance Award Level 2.
You will successfully- Provide services and support to young people in a way that is aligned to The Salvation Army’s mission & values and the National Model of Care for Youth Services.-
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to implement quality initiatives.-
- Plan, design and schedule vocational training courses.-
- Source and contextualise training materials to meet the learner needs, ensuring they are engaging and meet current industry requirements.-
- Provide culturally appropriate support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.-
- Record all client data, interactions, and assessments.-
- Participate in recruitment and enrollment of students.-
- Mark submitted assessments within the required time frame, providing meaningful feedback to the learner.You will have- Relevant hospitality qualifications.-
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.-
- A current paid NSW Employee Working With Children Check.-
- Demonstrated experience in the field of vocational education and training and hospitality industry in Australia.-
- Demonstrated experience in delivering training to diverse participant groups, face to face, online and by distance.-
- Computer skills - Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn database programs.-
- Effective verbal and written communication, listening and networking skills.-
- The ability to work autonomously and with mínimal supervision.-
- Compassion and professionalism in all actions and ethics.-
- Energy, flexibility, initiative and integrity with a positive and friendly attitude.What we offer
