Administrative Role Overview

About The Administrative Position

This role requires the successful candidate to perform a wide range of administrative duties throughout the hospital. Those in this pool have the opportunity to work in areas such as inpatient wards, reception, ED outpatient clinics, allied health departments, mental health inpatient wards, elective waitlist and sometimes community health.

Upon commencement, you will undergo comprehensive training in various administrative functions across the hospital and its facilities, equipping you with the skills to succeed within the role. You will be supported by the patient services manager and various managers throughout the facility, with ongoing training.

About You

The successful candidate will have excellent face-to-face and telephone communication skills in a high-volume environment, willingness to work on the main reception desk. Good communication, time management and prioritisation skills are essential.
