As a senior commercial leader, you will have the opportunity to shape the next chapter of our business in Oceania. This franchise includes Gastroenterology (GI), Neuroscience, and Vaccines, with responsibility for multiple strategic products and pipeline assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Vision: Define and execute a compelling franchise strategy that supports long-term growth, translating insights into action and adjusting course as needed to stay ahead of market shifts.
  • Lead Team & Build Capability: Inspire, empower, and develop teams with clear goals and shared accountability, strengthening team capability in areas such as digital and data analysis, manage structure and headcount, and foster cross-functional collaboration.
  • Own Commercial & Financial Outcomes: Take full responsibility for P&L, budgets, and resource allocation, applying strong financial and business acumen to optimise performance and support strategic priorities.
  • Scan the Environment & Respond to Change: Analyse market activity and trends, customer needs, and external benchmarks to inform strategic adjustments.
  • Engage Stakeholders & Drive Innovation: Partner with external stakeholders, KOLs, and scientific communities to deliver patient-focused solutions, bringing forward new ideas and approaches that challenge conventional thinking and create value.
  • Operational Excellence: Strengthen workflows and processes to scale growth.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in leadership roles, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive business growth through strategic planning and execution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
