About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate support professional to work with and support employees in our environmental services department.

The Support Professional's main responsibility is to support supported employees across the organisation. They partner with stakeholders to support the goals and outcomes of supported employees, in a NDIS service delivery focussed role targeted on training and goal orientated supports.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordination of employee life cycle including induction, onboarding, training, and personal development plans
  • Developing strong relationships with supported employees
  • Hands-on approach to training, developing work skills and recording activities
  • Providing supports in accordance with policies, NDIS standards and code of conduct
  • Collaborating in HR projects as required
  • Completion of work trial reports for successful transition of supported employees

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Disability Studies or Human Resources (or working towards)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Effective prioritisation and organisation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to relate respectfully to staff and clients
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
